Captured during an intense sunset over Sydney Harbour, this short project was the second in a series of short videos intended to showcase a specific place. It followed the Falls video, included below.
Hot on the tail of the surprising initial success of the Melbourne video came ROC Race 2017. As Jason was injured prior the event (whilst on a filming mission), much of the project was filmed by Jason's friend, Blake. The film features Jason, Robbie, Jakob, Michael and Blake as they take on an obstacle course on home ground - Sydney Olympic Park.
Following the ROC Race video, whilst Jason was up north he took off with Robbie's GoPro on a filming mission.
Jason's first attempt at a social oriented film took place during a trip to Melbourne for the Australian Open with a group of friends. The resulting film was unexpected in quality and is responsbile for launching Jason headfirst into the world of cinematography.
As always, Jason always strives to capture stills that reflect and accompany his projects to provide added depth. These stills are a testament to the power of the GoPro despite its small size.
